Sponsor

Flowers in my Hair’s Media Kit is available upon request.
collabWith my experience in Marketing and Sales and my love of showcasing great talent and brands in unique and exciting ways, this isn’t just an advertising program. I want to not only promote you but get to know you because ultimately that’s where the most authentic marketing and support comes from. Our relationship doesn’t end when your sponsorship does. No matter if we work together or not, please feel free to reach out to me. I know what it is like to feel unknown, struggling to be heard in a sea of voices. I also know what it is like to trust my money and business to someone and feel as if I did not get my money’s worth. That won’t happen here. See this post.

collab4Sponsoring Nina and Flowers in My Hair was one of the best things I could have done for my blog. Nina goes above and beyond to make you feel welcomed; from promoting your posts to commenting, she is always present. Her sponsorship methods are unique and display you and your blog in a wonderful fashion. The blogosphere is a huge place and somehow Nina has made it seem so small and inviting. I always felt that I had someone in my corner and not only left her blog with some new followers, I left with a new friend.Anne of Love the Here and Now

Truth be told, sponsoring “Flowers in my Hair” made me cry. Yep, you read correctly, I cried in that “she really gets me” heart clutch type of way that Nina describes when writing about things she is passionate about. Over the course of a few weeks Nina reached out to me several times as she was researching and getting to know my blog…she asked questions, she posed ideas for what she wanted to write, she asked for pictures, etc. We’ve all read the sponsor introductions before, right? I figured she’d say a few nice things, link to a couple posts here and there and call it a day. I figured it was money well spent. The morning the post went live, I sat at my desk at work and cried as I read her interpretation of my blog.  It was the nicest thing anyone has ever written about me…but more than that, I couldn’t believe someone could capture everything I hoped would come across in my blog so perfectly. The end result of sponsoring Nina was much more than what I hoped it would be. Yes, I got more traffic on my blog and followers on Bloglovin’. But I also got to see a summary of one year’s journey to find my writing voice validated. And to me that was worth everything. Dollie of Two Wooden Spoons

I got a chance to read the beautiful post by Nina B via Flowers in my Hair. She is such a talented writer, and if you don’t already read her blog, you should (and not just because she featured twelve) Prior to her generously writing not one but two posts about twelve, I had fallen in love with her posts about life, family, travels, and being a brave 20 something in a new city. She’s awesome. And now, she’s spreading the twelve message, Sandra Grayson Memorial Golf Outing message, and Babes for Boobs message to her followers (many on the west coast!) we saw a 60+ spike in followers today already. More followers/more twelvers/more support/bigger differences. Thank you, Nina: you’re changing the world!  Sarah Kohler, Founder of twelve

(When Sarah and I first spoke, she clearly stated one of her goals for the year: to reach 1000 followers on twelve’s Facebook page by the end of the 2014 (we spoke in March of 2014).  Within two weeks of my posts, she reached her goal.)

  • Content is King: I write 5x a week every week
  • I’m in marketing. This is what I do for a living.
  • I’m a writer and creative at heart.

The following stats increase at a minimum of 25% every month since this blog’s inception:

  • + 11,000 page views
  • 400 Unique visitors daily
  • Top Traffic Sources: Bloglovin’, Facebook, Pinterest, Search Engines
  • Over  850  +1100 Bloglovin’ followers and growing rapidly
  • Social Media Reach (across Pinterest, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr): over 9,000 and growing rapidly
  • To simplify: this blog continues to grow by 25% every month in nearly every area.

The best part is any money that is brought in through sponsorships is used to bring more traffic to this site by advertising on larger blogs and other places and therefore, and most importantly, bringing you more exposure. This money does not just sit in my pocket; it is instantly reinvested into advertising for Flowers in my Hair and thus, for your site as well.
