You know? I simply remember my favorite things and then I don’t feel so bad(ly). No, but seriously I am linking up with Mia and Kelli to share some of my faves from the month of July. I’m pretty positive that every single person in the world is saying: oh my gosh, how is it August? But really, how is it August?These shoes are incredibly comfortable and they are camel (my favorite color when it comes to accessories) so they go with everything. I would totally leave you a link and make it a RewardStyle one but RewardStyle won’t have me! Yes, for real! I have been referred…I have applied myself. And finally they just said: no. This hurts me because…what did I ever do to you, RewardStyle? Also these shoes were on major sale here but it ended last night. So wonderful did I find these shoes that even as we speak (when the sale is still in place because I am writing this the night before), I am still debating whether to get a second pair. (But, seriously, RewardStyle.)AppleTV, how I love thee…Let me count the ways. It is kind of like culture shock to go from having no TV for two years to a television with AppleTV. What is life?!New desk accessories…this is something I dreamed about for all my time in SF. I am a writer by trade so my desk? It should look like a perfectly posed instagram photo (even though I am against that) because I should yearn to be seated at this desk, writing until my fingers are sore, and when I am too tired to go on, I can glance at my Kate Spade Acrylic Gold Tone Stapler or Russell + Hazel Acrylic Tape Dispenser, and keep on keepin’ on. That also goes for this Kate Spade Acrylic Gold Letter Paper Tray that reads: things to do. Yes, Kate Spade. I am a very important writer with many things to do. So if you follow me on instagram, you may be aware that this past month, I had to say goodbye to a dear friend–my J. Crew leopard phone case. I didn’t want to quit it. I tried to buy the same exact one. But they don’t make it anymore. Why J. Crew? Why??? So I traded in for this abstract leopard version which I found at Rifle Paper Co. Later I found this adorable blotter (it’s smaller which I like) at Waiting on Martha. And I was a sucker for the matching. (But I’m not a sucker. I’m talking to you, RewardStyle.)My Nonna graciously gifted me some amazing things from Home Goods for my apartment. This woman has taste; I’ve always said it. When my apartment is ready for the grand tour, you’ll see exactly why this set is so ideal for my bathroom.Remember when I said this was one of my favorite lotions? Okay, it still is. But I found a lavender version and it is so soothing at night. I love, love, love it.(Everyone Lotion, Lavender plus Aloe) I dare you to try it and not love it. Dare yaaaaa.
I picked this little baby up at the Nordstrom’s semi-annual (What, RewardStyle?! I shop. More than you know! More than I would like to.) I ordered a ton of stuff online in several round and then I weeded everything out. Originally, I started with Frye Boots and a bigger Marc by MJ bag but thankfully, neither of them worked for me and I returned them. (I mean, my bank account thanks me.) But this little baby is perfect. And for someone whose purse, no matter how small, ends up being a black hole where keys cannot be found…the little zipper pouch is perfection.
